Hermon Mehari is a rising international star in the jazz world and InterUrban ArtHouse visit

Hermon Mehari is a rising international star in the jazz world and Arts Alive will be there at the Carlsen Center, Johnson County Community College to hear his quintet perform the Winterlude Series. Curtain is 7PM on Sunday, December 17, and will feature music from his first album, Bleu, recorded in Kansas City and released last March … ranked as the top jazz album in the country by iTunes.

We'll begin the evening at 5PM with a tour of the InterUrban ArtHouse founded by artist Nicole Emanuel and led by a team who further its mission as a vibrant art cultural incubator, a creative crucible for artists and other creative entrepreneurs. Artists will be working in their studios when we arrive plus we'll be musically and magically entertained by Amado Espinoza who can play over 40 instruments.

We have another special treat with the Holiday Artist Marketplace during our reception offering unique, creative holiday shopping. The reception will feature Ambrosia Catering. There will be plenty of free parking near InterUrban ArtHouse.

Please purchase your tickets now and come meet the artists and listen to great jazz performed by Hermon and his group. The jazz trumpet has never sounded so beautiful.
