5:00 PM - People. Places. Things. — The World in 3 Frames at 80 Santa Fe Art Gallery
7:30 PM - 9:00PM The 2026 6x10 Ten-Minute Play Festival by The Barn Players
Join Arts Alive for a captivating evening celebrating the creativity and talent of our local arts community! We’ll begin at the 80 Santa Fe Art Gallery in downtown Overland Park, exploring People. Places. Things. — The World in 3 Frames.
The exhibit features three photographers, each with a distinct perspective, exploring the essence of photography—what we photograph and why it matters. One artist captures the people who move us, another frames the places that shape us, and the third finds meaning in the everyday objects we often overlook. Together, their work invites us to consider a simple question: What are you really looking at? Three perspectives. One universal truth: everything has a story.
As we take in this thought-provoking exhibit, we’ll enjoy delicious heavy appetizers from Lulu’s Thai Noodle Shop and connect with fellow arts enthusiasts.
Then, the spotlight shifts to the Black Box Theater at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center for The Barn Players' 2026 6x10 Ten-Minute Play Festival. Six original short plays, each about ten minutes long, promise an entertaining mix of humor, drama, surprises, and fresh theatrical perspectives—all in an intimate setting that brings you close to the action.
Two exciting venues. An inspiring art exhibit. Six captivating plays. One wonderful evening shared with fellow Arts Alive members. Come celebrate the arts, discover something new, and enjoy an unforgettable night of community and creativity!
Tickets are only $35. Please note: Arts Alive tickets are nonrefundable. If your plans change, you are welcome to give or sell your tickets to a friend.
