Mark your calendar, Sept 21st and purchase your tickets for the September Arts Alive event.  We're going to Johnson County to visit the new Johnson County Museum and then proceed to the Carlsen Center at the Johnson County Community College for the exciting new Dance Partners performance.

We begin the evening at 6:00pm at the newly renovated home of the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center, located at 87th and Metcalf.  We'll begin with our usual reception and explore the history and heritage of Johnson County, from the nostalgic past to present day technology and lifestyles. We'll depart in time for the 8 o'clock curtain.

New Dance Partners is a collaboration of the Kansas City Ballet, the Owen/Cox Dance Group, Wylliams/Henry Dance Company, and the Storling Dance Theater.  Each company will present totally new choreography conceived by nationally recognized choreographers.  For those of you wanting more background information on the program, a pre-event begins at 7pm.
